Manroland – The largest producer of newspaper presses in the world.  The web press division in Augsburg was purchased by the Possehi Group in January, 2012 after bankruptcy proceedings.  Based in Augsburg, Germany.

Goss International – Produces a wide range of web presses and is a dominant world player in this market.  Chief competitor is Manroland.  Based in Durham, USA.

Muller Martini – While not as large as other web press manufacturers, it does have several products that compete well.  Based in Maulburg, Germany.

Nebiolo Printech – A much smaller web press produces that mainly caters to the market in Italy.  Based in Mauro Torinese, Italy.

Sheetfed Printing Press Manufacturers

Presstek – Produces duplicator and convention two-color offset printing presses.  Acquired AB Dick assets in 2004 and continues to produce product presses under that name.  Located in New Hampshire, USA.

Goss International – While this company is more dominant in the web market, it produces a decent range of sheetfed presses.

Heidelberg – German printing company that dominates almost half of the world printing market. Produces pre-press, press and postpress equipment for a very wide range of printing needs.  Located in Heidelberg, Germany.

Koenig & Bauer – German printing company headquartered in Würzburg, Germany.  Manufactures sheetfed presses and is the worlds oldest manufactuer of offset printing presses.

Komori – The fourth largest printing press manufacturer in the world.  Produces a wide array of sheetfed presses.  Based in Japan.

Manroland – At the time of this list, Manroland had entered bankruptcy proceedings.    The second largest press manufacturer in the world.  Based in Offenbach am Main.

Nebiolo Printech – Producer of sheetfed presses.  Also a producer of paper.  Market is mainly in Italy.  Head office is in San Mauro Torinese, Italy.

Ryobi Group – Produces a wide range of sheetfed printing presses.  Based in Tokyo, Japan.

Xerox – Though it does not focus on the offset printing side, Xerox offers a wide range of digital sheetfed presses.  Worldwide company with head offices on every continent.

Quanzhou Xin HengYuan Company – Has different models of one to four color sheetfed presses.  Based in China.

Weifang Yongcheng Machinery Company – A manufacturer of offset printing presses, though mainly focusing on the flexographic process.  Based in Weifang City, China.

Zhejiang Haoly Company – Produces one model of a one color sheetfed press.  Based out of Shanghai, China.
