Holiday Cards

I’m so glad that I planned our group project holiday card well. The hardest thing was making sure that it folded up correctly and was easy to produce around 300 cards. They were both printed on Pearly Paper and Gloss Paper. Overall it was a great experience in learning how much planning can pay off.

Mixed Inks

Why would you use mixed inks? The reason for this is so it is cheap and you don’t have to pay extra money for it I found that ultra mix is a great website that tells how much to mix. It uses your basic colors that would be in your commercial screen printing. Later will […]

Role Model

My biggest role model would be Henkin Shultz because he is a guy who is out there and willing to do anything that he puts his mind to. He works with his staff very well and likes to work with his team.

Progress

Going out and seeing designs in a different way is so strange to me. The reason why is that I’m see the details that designer did. I can tell when someone doesn’t apply the design principals. I even see basic things like spacing which does take time to learn. I feel good about how I’m […]

Halloween

What a fun time of year! I did a presentation on it and learned a lot of the old culture. I love the story of “Stingy Jack” a man who tricked the devil multiple times and was sent to the ends of the Earth with a beat as his Jack O Lantern. It’s interesting to […]

Blue Boo

It is kinda exciting to think that we are doing this project instead of graduates here at Southeast Tech. Nearing the end to finish this project I learn that with a good plan will alway benefit you. I kept going back to the drawing bored. The thought came to me that I need to go […]

Change in FaceBook

In last semester when I was taking Social Media in school I learned so much on how to keep track of different things like how many likes, is the content relevant to what they are going for, and is there interaction between the business and the viewer. The one thing that confuses me now is […]

Real World Design

This is probably one of my favorite designs that I’ve seen in a Target store. It’s interesting how they took a black and white picture and took the other side of the picture to create a duotone that uses a lime green with black. I would say the design has encouraged me to do more […]

Interview with HekinShultz

This was a great experience in talking to someone in the design industry. It gave me an insight of how things run. Understanding the different branches of the workplace and how you may have to wear the leaders hat depending on the project your doing. It is not one person who does the job and […]
