One of the greatest resources I have used for presenting is MADE to STICK. It gives a six principles of what each stands for.
1. Simple- make it easy to understand and prioritize what you want your audience to know.
2. Unexpected- give information that the audience didn’t know like a fact or statistic that grabs people’s attention.
3. Concrete- giving a mental image that the audience can see, but also give other examples that targets different memories that people can relate to.
4. Credible- giving credit where it is and giving information that is reliable and backed up by what you say.
5. Emotional- make connections that are strongly passionate in people’s thought process and target what they believe in by being relatable.
6. Stories- make sure what your saying is strong and gets you from point A to point B.
